Egypt: Jordanian King Asserts Deep-Rooted Relations With Nation

Jordanian King Abdullah II asserted on Thursday 20/12/2012 the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Egypt.

During his reception of an Egyptian delegation, led by Prime Minister Hisham Qandil, King Abdullah affirmed the importance of boosting bilateral cooperation especially in the fields of politics and economy.

During the meeting, Qandil delivered to the Jordanian monarch an invitation from President Mohamed Morsi to visit Egypt soon.

The meeting also tackled the latest developments in the region especially the Syrian and Palestinian crisis.

Qandil lauded Jordan's positive stance towards Egypt and its people. He also greeted the recent constitutional and political reforms spearheaded by King Abdullah in the country.
