Eritrea: Students in Agordat City Voice Readiness to Back Up Development Ventures

Agordat — Students in Agordat city voiced readiness to back up the ongoing development undertakings in the locality. They made the pledge at a NUEYS' meeting that involved discussion pertaining to the role of youths in national development programs.

Mr. Zerisenai Tesfai, head of the NUEYS branch in Gash-Barka region, stressed the need for enhancement of youth role in endeavors to ensure more gratifying achievement in the nation-building process. He further asserted that the branch office would collaborate with the students.

Among the students, Dina Tesfamariam, Meron Siyum and Asta Teklemariam expressed appreciation for the ongoing youth activities in the area, and called for the reinforcement of the youth center's activities and purchase of additional facilities such as musical instruments and sports materials.
