Angola: Malanje Governor for Local Television Programme

Malanje — The governor of the northern Malanje province, Norberto dos Santos "Kwata Kanawa", defended the need for a local programme in the broadcasting grid of the Angolan Public Television (TPA), so as to promote socio-economic and cultural aspects of the province.

The officials said so on Thursday in Malanje province during a hearing meeting with local youngsters, from he was received opinions and some guidelines for the development of the region.

So, the governor said that the he will negotiate with the CEO of TPA the amount so as to fund the project.

On the other hand, Norberto dos Santos appealed for a greater dedication and effectiveness of the journalists in the production of radio debate programme and news about the province.

The meeting, promoted by the provincial youth council, aimed to gather suggestions about actions that may contribute to the development of the country.
