Nigeria: Imo CP - Family of Kidnapped Actress Paid N8 Million Ransom Without Our Knowledge

The Commissioner of Police in Imo, Mr Adisa Bolanta, has confirmed that the family of Nkiruka Sylvanus, the abducted governor's aide, paid N8 million ransom before she was released.

Bolanta told newsmen in Owerri on Friday that the family defied repeated warnings from the police not to negotiate or pay any ransom to the abductors,
