Angola: Re-Elected Chairperson Promises Great Support to Sport

Luanda — The re-elected chairperson of the Angolan Chess Federation (FAX), Aguinaldo Jaime, on Saturday here guaranteed that his staff will continue working in projects aimed at introducing the sport as a subject in primary schools.

Speaking at the swearing in ceremony, the head of FAX recognised that not all has been planned for its implementation in the previous mandate, but assured that the new board will be engaged in the continuance of its programmes.

"He promised that the current board will do its best to solve various problems the sport is facing", prior to referring to its new mandate, from which he counts on the support of all members of the federation, he emphasized.

He reasserted the availability to continue working in straight collaboration with the Ministry of Education in order to introduce the sport as a subject in primary schools.
