Angola: Midfielder Gilberto Might Start for National Team

Luanda — Angolan international football player Gilberto Amaral might be the number 10 during next year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON2013) set for January, in South Africa, as long as he recover well physically, coach Gustavo Ferrin told ANGOP.

Speaking to the press, after the 1-0 victory over Rwanda, on Saturday, the coach said he his permanently in touch with the player and he knows he has been training, hoping that he will be ready for his responsibilities.

The coach considered as positive the first stage of preparation, which was held in the country, and said that the last phase of training will begin at the venue of the competition, only with players that might be selected for the squad when it will be completed with those playing abroad.
