Angola: Agricultural Production in Kwanza Norte Reaches Over 790 Tonnes

Ndalatando — At least 792 tonnes of crops was harvested in the northern Kwanza Norte province, from January to December this year, ANGOP learnt.

This was announced by the provincial director of Agriculture and Rural Development, Fernando Humberto Mesquita.

He said local peasants produced onions, maize, maniocs, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, potatoes, peanuts and other crops.

Humberto Mesquita also said that during the aforementioned period a total of 5,000 hectares of land was prepared for planting.
