An Algerian army colonel was killed in a clash with terrorists in Ahnif, 50km east of Bouira, El Watan quoted a security source as saying on Thursday (December 20th).
A communal guard was also injured in the Wednesday attack. The security forces were conducting a search in the region after receiving information about the presence of a terrorist group.
