Tunisia: NCA Members Refuse to Vote for 2013 Presidency of Republic Budget

Tunis — The National Constituent Assembly (NCA) members refused to vote for the 2013 Presidency of Republic budget, at a plenary session held, on Monday, to adopt the Ministries' budgets.

The Presidency of Republic budget was set at 79 million 303 thousand dinars for 2013, which stands at 7.3% rise, compared with 2012.

However, the NCA budget which increased by 12.8 %, from 22 million and 230 thousand dinars in 2012 to 25 million and 488 thousand dinars in 2013, and the Prime Ministry's which was up by 7.1%, from 126 million 486 thousand dinars to 138 million and 401 thousand dinars, were adopted.
