Luanda — The programme of ministerial department of education for 2012 focused on continued implementation of programmes and activities carried out since 2009, aimed at achieving the goals set for the sector in medium term development plan for 2009-2012.

This was said by the Education Minister's consultant, Joaquim Cabral, who stressed that the Ministry of Education has been implementing actions of 2009-2012 term, outlined by the Executive for the ministerial department of education.

He mentioned, among others, the improved quality of education, valorisation of teachers and expansion of the school network.

As policy measures, he referred to rehabilitation, construction and equipping of infrastructures, pledging commitment to the low cost construction, resorting to the locally materials and community participation especially in primary education.
