Angola: Governor Calls for Responsibility in Actions for Progress

Uíge — The governor of the northern Uije province, Paulo Pombolo, called over the weekend for the members of his staff and population in general to work towards unity, discipline and responsibility in the accomplishment of actions outlined by the Executive, Angop has learnt.

Paulo Pombolo said so when speaking at the year-end greetings ceremony.

In addition, the official said that these elements must be stimulated by intellectuals because to reach the outlined goals, it is needed to mobilize those one placing them at the service of development.

The governor also reminded the works done throughout 2012, such as the construction of a new palace for the governor, building of six new hospitals, rehabilitation of the main airport and the justice palace and Uije high institute, among others.

Paulo Pombolo also mentioned the works done in the sector of education, through the construction and reconstruction of new schools.
