Huambo — The singer Edna Mateia, from the central Huambo Province, last Sunday thrilled the Huambo City dwellers in a charity show held in the Osvaldo Serra Van-Dúnem pavilion.
Edna Mateia went on stage at 08.30 in the evening.
The show also marked by the performances of acts like Jorge Sanjai, Justino Handanga, João Baptista Joly, Tio Hossi, Estrelinhas da Alva group, Carlos África, Victor Bil, Lili de Vasconcelos, Chico Pobre, Ander, Albano Sikuete, Originais Mega Dance, Vozes da África, HP, João Afonso, among others.
Speaking to ANGOP, Edna Mateia expressed her satisfaction at the presence and participation of the public in the show.
"I am very satisfied at the participation of the audience in the show, since this is my first event since I entered the music world", she revealed.
The singer also informed that ten per cent of the money that was collected will be channelled to the "Suku Ondjali" children's shelter home, located in Caála Municipality, Huambo Province.
