Rwanda: Nyagatare District Showcases Development Plan

Development has reached all due to good coordination between development partners and the district, Alcade Kamanzi; president of advisory council in Nyagatare district has observed.

This was revealed after the general parliament of partners to showcase District Development Plan (DDP) to the Joint Action Development Forum (JADF) in Nyagatare district.

During the parliament session, stake holders presented their plans first and then were showed the district's 5 year development plan as Aime Iyaturemye, Head of JADF Nyagatare explains.

Kamanzi confirms that this activity is aimed at joining efforts to extend development to the beneficiaries.

Talking to the development partners, Stanley Muganwa; vice-mayor for economic affairs in Nyagatare district focused on development opportunities that can be exploited.

He added that banks, hotels and other financial institutions should strive to have best customer care.

To improve on the working strategies, JADF will visit and follow up on each partner working in this district and award marks accordingly.

Other programs include, signing performance contracts between the district and development partners and to ensure every household gets help in their welfare programs.
