Kuito — The fight against tax evasion in Kuito city, central Bie province, allowed the finance department to reap more revenues, Angop has learnt.
This was said to Angop on Monday by the head of Tax Office, Pedro Custodio.
According to him, this year the department collected more than AKZ 600 million, as result of actions aimed at discouraging tax evasion.
He confirmed that the value includes the payment of taxes by local businesses.
