Tunisia: Telecom Partner Meets With Interim Prime Minister

Tunis — Interim Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali conferred, on Monday in Carthage, with representative of Tunisie Telecom's Emirian partner Ahmed Ben Bayet, with attendance of Information and Communication Technologies Minister Mongi Marzoug.

At the end of the talk, Mr. Ben Bayet underlined that investment in Tunisia, namely with Tunisie Telecom is "strategic for the United Arab Emirates" and is part of a series of long-term investments.

Mr. Marzoug specified that the meeting provided the occasion to look at means likely to develop relations binding Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates so as to promote the Tunisian market and develop bilateral strategies meant to strengthen investment between the two countries.
