Angola: Provincial Youth Council Socialises With Elderly People

Saurimo — The Provincial Youth Council in the eastern Lunda Sul province promoted on Sunday an event intended to socialise with more than 70 elderly people, under the celebrations of Christmas.

On the occasion, the chairman of the Provincial Council of Youth in Lunda Sul, Cassongo Joao da Cruz said the initiative aimed to show solidarity with the elderly people, showing that youth still need them because they are a living library.

The event was marked by the handover of goods, dance, theatre, fashion parading, music and exchange of gifts.
