Rwanda: Rayon Sport Face Etincelles

National Football League action resumes today with only one game when six time champions Rayon Sport host struggling Western Province giants Etincelles at Stade de Kigali, Nyamirambo.

Rayon go into the game knowing that a win will help them close the gap on Police, AS Kigali and Kiyovu, who are tied on 18 points on the league log.

Currently, Rayon have accumulated 12 points in eight games while Etincelles have accumulated only five points in nine matches and sit in the relegation zone along with Marines, who host Espoir tomorrow.

Rayon's assistant coach Ali Bizimungu says the Blues will be going for maximum points.

"We need points as we want to carry on closing the gap between us and the leading teams because we desire to challenge for the title, so the match against Etincelles is one we need to win," he said.

On Wednesday, surprise package AS Kigali will host champions APR, while Isonga will host Kiyovu Stade Mumena.

La Jeunnese will take on Amagaju, while league leaders Police will be playing against Musanze as Mukura will be hosting Muhanga in Huye.
