Operatives of the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) in Kano have discovered and detonated explosives planted in strategic location within the metropolis.
The Commandant of 3rd Motorize Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Iliyasu Abba told Reporters in Kano on Monday that " there are desperate attempts by terrorists to instil fear on urban dwellers".
Brigadier Illiyasu Abba added "we have made some arrests while the investigation is still on."
