If shareholders approve a deal that has already received the nod from regulatory bodies, City Trust will become a holding company of I&M Bank.
Both issued a caution to shareholders as the transaction is likely to affect their value. The shareholders were advised to seek the opinion of independent advisers, stockbrokers and investment banks.
