Uganda: Hundreds Attend Christams Prayers At Namirembe

The Nabagerekka of Buganda, Sylvia Nagginda was among the hundreds of Christians that thronged to St. Paul's Cathedral Namirembe for the Christmas service that started at 10:45am.

Hundreds of Christians formed queues to access entry through the security checks.

The first service had been attended by among others Attorney General Peter Nyombi and minister for Trade Industry Amelia Kyambadde, while former Premier Apollo Nsimbambi, and Ruth Nankabirwa, minister for fisheries was attended the 10am service.

In a rarely over decorated church, the dean of the Cathedral, Benon Kityo led the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese The Rt. Rev Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira to the morning services, who attacked homosexuality, corruption and theft of government funds.
