Uganda: Christ the King Priest Decries Murder

The Parish Priest of Christ the King church Kampala Mgr. Gerald Kalumba, has condemned acts of murder by ill-hearted people which has left some Ugandans dead.

In his Christmas sermon at Christ the King church on Tuesday, Kalumba said: "We should stop these murders, corruption and poison".

"Why should people speak about poison, why not natural death?"

He urged Christians to stick to God, who he said brings joy and peace.

"We hail our restoration in Christ who is born in our human nature-God's son coming to share our weakness and so to assist us to share his glory," said Kalumba.

Christians on Tuesday thronged different churches around the world to celebrate to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
