Eritrea: Livestock Health in Halhal Sub-Zone in Good Status - Report

Halhal — The inhabitants of Halhal sub-zone said that the health of livestock in the locality is in good condition, and that they have secured ample water and feed for them. Stating that the locality is suitable for animal husbandry, they further pointed out that commendable veterinary service is being rendered there.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, Mr. Abdelrihim Mohammed Idris and Mr. Musa Mohammed Ibrahim explained that the commendable amount of rainfall registered during the past rainy season and their hard work constitute a springboard to the achievement. Accordingly, additional volume of grass would be harvested from enclosures to feed livestock during winter.
