Nigeria: FG Appoints 2 New Perm Secs

Abuja — PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of Dr. Jamila Shuara and Dr. Clement Illoh as permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.

Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Alhaji Isa Sali, made this known in a statement in Abuja, Monday.

He said the new appointments were made following the retirement from service, on November 23, of the permanent secretary representing the South-South zone and that of Delta State, whose retirement takes effect from January 15, 2013.

Dr. Jamila Shua'ra, until his appointment, was the Director, Tertiary Education in the Federal Ministry of Education.
