One in every 20 women in Kenya will report a rape ordeal while 1 in 6 will seek medical assistance. The shocking facts from the Gender Based Recovery Centre indicate that rape is still under reported in Kenya.
For the last 11 years their records show that only 21,000 sexual violence and domestic violence cases have been reported.
