Sudan: Bombings in Central Darfur Area Kill Two Sudanese

Nyala — Two Darfur citizens have died and three were injured after an Antonov airplane of the Sudan Armed forces dropped bombs on the village Barasani some kilometers west of the central town of Golo. The bombings happening today (Wednesday 26 December) also caused the destruction of seven houses and farms killing camels and cows.

The bombings happening today (Wednesday 26 December) also caused the destruction of seven houses and farms killing camels and cows.

Golo was captured by the SRF several days ago. The Sudanese army tries to recapture this key village in the Jebel Marra area of Central Darfur. According to the spokesperson of the Sudan Revolutionary Forces of Abdel Wahid, Mustapha Tambur, the civilians who were killed are Yahiya Adam Bahr and Lokman Abdelmajid Haroon.

He says the government is just targeting civilians in Jebel Marra. He assured that they still are controlling Golo area. The SRF says it has information that the government is preparing for more attacks.
