Zimbabwe: Praise God for the Gift of Life

It's Christmas time, time to move from praise into thanksgiving. Time to continue reminding ourselves that Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords (1 Timothy 6:15). Of the kings known and unknown, in all the world, there is not one like Jesus.

God the father conferred all the power, ability, wisdom and glory just to mention, but a few upon His Son Jesus.

He rules and He reigns in all the spheres and in all the domains of life. Without Him nothing was created and nothing exists (John1:3). It's Christmas time, its time to celebrate. For unto us a child is born, to us a child is given, Saviour of the world.

It's time to thank God for the gift He had given us, Jesus Christ, the Redeemer.

Humanity was hopeless and destined for nothing else, but doom and destruction. Jesus came right on time to deliver us from the wrath and the judgment of the law. No man was going to be saved by his own righteousness.

No man could get to the Father without the Son escorting him. Jesus Christ is the sin bearer, the yoke breaker and the burden bearer. It's time to celebrate our victory, our freedom has come. The birth of our Lord is the birth of our new life in Christ Jesus. Christmas time is that time whereby all those who received the truth about the Messiah should enter into a moment of celebrating the goodness of the Lord.

Though Christ was God, He didn't count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking a form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross (Philippians 2:5-8). Being God, Christ made His way to this sinful world in search of you and me. He lost all the comfort of being God and was treated like an ordinary and mere man, and He even died a very shameful death on the cross and all this was done so that our places may be found in Him. He brought life where it was not. Jesus is the complete and total package one would need in order to make it in this life and the life to come.

Sometimes in order for one to be able to appreciate an object one has to understand and know the object. Very few people in this world know Jesus so that they would be able to understand and appreciate Him. Here is part of the knowledge about Jesus Christ that I received.

Jesus Christ is a friend of sinners. He came for bad people, He didn't come for the good people.

He came for me and you, that's why we must not offended with those that says we are not a good people. If I was good then Jesus would not have come for me, that's why I need Him as my helper because I am not strong enough to go the journey by myself.

Jesus is the divine teacher, anyone who comes close to Him will get knowledge and life. In the book of John, Jesus said that His word is life. He gives living waters to anyone who is thirsty should they come to Him and He will satisfy every thirsty soul.

He is the bread of life, anyone who eats His body and drinks His blood will never hunger again, but instead will have life in abundance. Jesus is the way, the truth and life. Not forgetting that Jesus is the good shepherd (John 10:10). He keeps His flock. He doesn't sleep. He watches over those that regard Him as their Shepherd. Jesus is our comforter, nobody can comfort like Jesus!

He said I will never leave you nor forsake you. He promised to be with us always once we are plugged into Him. Jesus is the great intercessor, He prays and prayed for us day and night before His Father.

People might promise to pray for us, but they might forget, but Jesus is praying for us.

Jesus forgives sins, no matter how deep they are. It doesn't matter how lost you are in sin, once you come to Christ and repent, He will accept you. Jesus heals the sick, He delivers the oppressed, He forgives sinners, He blesses the poor, He raises the dead, there is no one like Jesus. There is nothing about you Jesus cannot fix. He says come unto me all ye who labour and are heavily burdened and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Jesus defends the weak and the feeble. He is the great physician, there is no sickness that Jesus Christ cannot heal. He is the source of all the life. He is the balm of Geliad. It's Christmas time, it's the Lord's birthday!

I will also take this opportunity to congratulate and wish Prophet Makandiwa a happy birthday.

The man of God was born on Christmas day. Happy birthday, we wish you many more years to come, full of the wisdom of Christ and good health!

This is Christmas time find someone to love, someone whom you may show the love of Christ. UFIC and Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa wishes all a merry Christmas, a happy and prosperous 2013!
