Luanda — The Minister of National Defence, Cândido Pereira Van-Dúnem, Wednesday in Luanda said that his institution will instil greater dynamism in actions and activities at all levels in 2013.
The National Defence Minister said so during the year-end greeting ceremony with military officials and civil workers linked to the sector.
According to him, this will require a more active and responsible participation in the implementation of tasks entrusted by law in order to preserve the good name of the ministry and the Armed Forces (FAA) within the society.
After having referred to the quick and deep economic, social and institutional change in Angola, Cândido Van-Dúnem also urged the staff to make good use of the intelligence and energy in the service of stability, security, peace and national unity.
The minister defended the need to pay attention to the organisation, good governance and transparency of management.
He also stressed the gains the institution achieved in 2012.
At the end of ceremony the participants shared a socialisation lunch followed by a cultural recreational event attended by the chief of Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), Army general Geraldo Sachipengo Nunda.
Generals, Admirals, high ranking officers, soldiers and civil workers of the National Defence Ministry also joined the event.
