Egypt: Churches Celebrates Christmas

The Catholic Church on Monday 24/12/2012 celebrated Christmas and the New Year, praying God to keep Egypt safe.

Coptic Catholic, Armenians, Roman Catholics, Greek Orthodox and Maronite participated in the celebration.

President Mohamed Morsi delegated presidential secretaries to extend greetings to Egyptian churches that celebrate the Western Christmas.

Bishop John I, Deputy Patriarch of the Coptic Catholic Church, said that Copts prayed to God to spread stability and peace and keep Egypt away from all risks.
