Angola: Army Land Forces Want to Accomplish Baselines in 2013

Luanda — The commander of the Army land forces, general Lúcio do Amaral, augured this Wednesday in the materialisation of the baselines of 2013, together with aspects related with organization, discipline, so as to promote the spirit of comrade, cohesion among staff.

The general said so when addressing the year-end greetings ceremony of the command of the army land forces.

The general officer considered the year 2012 of hard work for this branch of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).

He said that the main intention was focused on the restructuring under the re-edification process of the Angolan Armed Forces, in order to guarantee the integrity of the national territory, freedom and security of the population against any extreme threat, in the framework of the established and the international law.

The ceremony was attended by the second commander of the army, general Gouveia Sá Miranda, general officers, senior officers, captains, sergeants, soldiers and civil employees.
