Angola: Fire Service Evacuates Eleven People in Christmas Eve

Luanda — Eleven citizens were evacuated in Christmas eve, due to health reasons and car accidents, to various public and private hospitals countrywide by the National Civil Protection and Fire Services (SNPCB), ANGOP has learnt from an official source.

According to the spokesman of the SNPCB, Faustino Sebastião, the evacuated citizens were victims of car accidents, assault and battery, alcoholic intoxication and food poisoning, among other causes.

According to the source, seven of the occurrences were recorded in Luanda and the remainder in the provinces of Kuando Kubango, Kwanza Sul and Zaire.

The emergency number to call the Fire Service is 115.
