Egypt: Cabinet - Presidential Spokesmen Only Accredited Sources of Information

The Cabinet said on Tuesday 25/12/2012 that the correct information about the government is only announced by its spokesman, if not the Prime Minister himself.

Any statements on the government's agenda or responsibilities are sheer expectations, a well-informed source said.

There are two spokesmen for the Presidency and government whose job is to inform the public about both institutions, the source said.
