Calabar — On Christmas Day, a Joint Task Force tagged Operation Pulo Shield 01 uncovered and raided an expansive oil depot where diesel is stored in thousands of rubber drums.
The discovery was made on Christmas Eve following intelligence gathering by the Nigerian Army, according to the Public Relations Officer of the 13 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Captain Joseph James.
He said the JTF discovered and destroyed about 8,000 drums of fuel and diesel during the operation.
