Huambo — About 115 projects will be implemented in the year 2013 by the executive of the central Huambo Province, in the ambit of its public investments programme (PIP), aimed at improving the basic conditions of the citizens.

This announcement was made last Wednesday, in this city, by the acting provincial governor, Francisco Fato, at the traditional season greetings ceremony, having informed on the occasion that over half of the projects to be executed focus on the social sector.

He revealed that the priority sectors are education, health, water, public works, social reintegration, housing and urbanisation.

Francisco Fato informed that the Huambo Province executive also intends to continue implementing some unfinished projects, as well as invest in other business-related areas, entrepreneurial development and social welfare.

The acting governor said that the 115 projects to be executed in 2013 are estimated at 13 billion kwanzas.
