Egypt: Cooperation Protocol Between Ministries Local Bodied

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil witnessed on Wednesday 26/12/2012 the hammering out of three cooperation protocols between ministries of Petroleum, Local Development, Tourism as well as Port Said governorate and the Social fund for Development.

Cabinet Spokesman Alaa el-Hadidi said that the first protocol aims to launch, run and maintain between 120 and 200 small and medium-sized projects which will secure about 2000 job opportunities.

The second protocol, the spokesman said, targets provision of natural gas at investment of LE 50 million as a step to transform petrol-powered cars into gas-powered-ones.

The third protocol targets upgrade the sports and social facilities owned by the Ministry of Petroleum and companies affiliated to it.
