Luanda — The President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, created on Thursday a multi-sectorial commission to re-launch the tourism activity and thus follow the entry and exit of international cruisers in the ports of Lobito and Namibe, Angop has learnt.
A press note delivered to Angop says the commission is aimed to define the legal framework for the reception, accompanying, cultural route, medical assistance and security of the members of international cruisers, as well as guarantee the regular reception of
citizens that intend to visit the country.
The commission will be co-ordinated by the Minister of Hotels and Tourism and it comprises the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Home, Health, Culture, Territory Administration, Commander of National Police, Directors of Migration and Foreign Services, Information and State Security.
The commission will be supported by a technical group constituted by representatives of the mentioned organs.
The commission has 30 days to submit to the President of the Republic the timing of activities and 90 days to present the final report of the works done.
