Angola: Thirty Angolan Physicians to Reinforce Luanda's Health Network

Luanda — Thirty specialized physicians will be distributed in municipal hospitals of Luanda Province, in a ceremony happening Friday at the health provincial department, ANGOP learnt Thursday.

The physicians, some newly trained and others emerging from tertiary hospitals, will fill the existing vacancies in municipal institutions in the specialties of internal medicine, orthopaedics, gynaecology-obstetrics, paediatrics, surgery, dermatology, pulmonology, hospital management and neuro-paediatric.

A source with the provincial department of health said experts will be placed in the hospitals of Cazenga, Viana, Sambizanga, Cacuaco, Cajueiros, Samba, Capalanca, Mãe Jacinta and Augusto Paulino Ngangula.

The Luanda provincial health department has 332 doctors and 4.844 nurses.
