Angola: Government to Build Culture House in Moxico

Luena — The provincial government of Moxico will build and equip in 2013 A Culture House to encourage and re-launch habits and customs of the local population as well as promote research activities.

The building, whose plan was approved at an ordinary meeting of the Cabinet Meeting, will be amounted at over 400 million Kwanzas, as part of the Public Investment Programme (PIP).

The infrastructure will be built in Sinai-Novo ward, outskirts of Luena City and it will house several areas, such as the amphitheatre for the presentation of plays, arts showroom, kiosks, shops and other services.

The future Culture House will also serve for the conservation of artistic and museum artefacts.
