Asmara — NUEW members in the Central region have lauded the role of Army members in the nation-building process. They expressed their appreciation during an excursion visit they made to Senafe sub-zone which included a get-together program with the EDF members.

Ms. Tekh'a Tesfamichael, head of the NUEW branch in the Central region, Ms. Saedia Mohammed and Ms. Rahwa Teklesenbet expressed appreciation for the prevailing spirit of altruism and enthusiasm among the EDF members, and voiced satisfaction with sharing a spirit of entertainment with them.

The EDF members commended the initiative taken by the branch office vis-à-vis the persistent role of women regarding the national development programs.

Ms. Saliha Adem, head of the NUEW branch in the Southern region, on her part said that such initiative attests to the strong bond of the Eritrean people with the Defense Forces, which value should be bequeathed to the coming generation.
