Nigeria: Ex-Media Trust Chairman Loses Mother

Katsina — Hajiya Hajara Sabon-Gari Bello, mother of former chairman of Media Trust Ltd Alhaji Abdulmumini Bello, has died. She was 88 years. She died in Kankara town of Katsina State yesterday after a brief illness. She is survived by four children and many grand children.

The children include Alhaji Abdulmumini Bello, Justice Adamu Bello of the Abuja Federal High Court, Engr. Muhammad M Bello of the NNPC and Engr. Bashir Bello of Shell Company.

Early callers at the deceased's home in Kankara to sympathize with the bereaved family included two directors from Media Trust Alhaji Rabi'u Garba and Umar Abdullahi.

She was buried in Kankara around 9 am yesterday in accordance with Islamic rites.
