Cape Verde/Angola: Cape Verde May Surprise in Group A - Angolan Footballer

Luanda — The midfielder of the Angolan national football team Gilberto do Amaral, convened for the African Cup of Nations (CAN2013), said on Thursday that Cape Verde may surprise in the competition set from January 19 to February 10 in South Africa.

The player was speaking to Angop on the national team's opponent in the competition.

According to Gilberto, who plays for AEL Limassol of Cyprus, the Cape Verdean team has evolved a lot in recent years and may surprise their opponents in CAN2013.

As for the case of Morocco, the debut opponent, the athlete characterised them as compact and organised team.

While the hosts (South Africa), another member of the group A, the Angolan midfielder termed them favourite with the possibility to rank first in the group.
