After one month of controversy, the Manjai Kunda Sports Organisation League Cup final will take place tomorrow Saturday at the Father Gough Sports Complex. The game will be between Johannes FC of Kololi and Fajara South FC of Fajara.

The final was under threat for the past one month after Darusalam FC threatened violence following the Committee's u-turn in the decision to admit them in the final match.

Johannes FC had won their semifinal tie against Darusalam of Manjai that qualified them for the match against Fajara South. But Darusalam appealed against what they claimed was Johannes' use of an ineligible player. The Committee, based on the appeal decided to throw the Kololi-based outfit from the final. However, Johannes were later re-admitted after the Committee said it had made an error of judgement.
