The General Auditing Commission (GAC) has for the first time provided two bags of 25 kg rice to each of its employees as Christmas bonus ahead of this festive holiday.

GAC Human Resource Manager Sylvester O. Jah disclosed that management made availabled 940 bags of 25 kg rice for distribution amongst employees of the institution.

He said the provision of the rice to the employees as X-mas gift is intended to keep them happy during the festive holiday.

Mr. Jah believes that the gift would serve as a motivation for employees of the GAC. He also disclosed that the distribution of rice to the staff of the GAC is the first in six years.

Mr. Jah said the distribution of the rice among the staff was made possible through the farsightedness of Auditor General Robert Kilby.

The GAC Resource Manager of Communication Director also noted that several staffers of the GAC, during the distribution, lauded Auditor General Kilby for providing them rice as X-mas bonus.
