Omar Sey has debunked claims that the government-backed Normalization Committee is seeking an extension mandate.
The former Gambian Foreign Minister's reply comes on the heels of a report claiming that the NC is considering renewal of mandate till September 2013.
"It is not true and I don't know where that is coming from. They have their own agenda", Vice chairman of the Normalisation Committee Mr. Sey told Foroyaa Sports.
FIFA handed the GFA overseer an extended six months term which runs until 31st March 2013.
Since replacing the dissolved former FA executive in March of this year, the new wheel stirrers at the helm of Gambian football have been in the centre of intense media scrutiny with barrage of criticisms.
On December 10th, the GFA constitution was adopted not until after day-long breathtaking consultations on the adoptive congress day which ended in controversy.
