January 7 will be a fully paid leave for workers on the occasion of Eastern Christmas, Minister of Manpower and Immigration Khaled al-Azhari has stated.
Employees who have to work on that day are entitled to a two-day pay as per article 52 of the labour act and its amendments, al-Azhari said in a statement reported by the Middle East News Agency (MENA).
