Kenya: Singer Kidum to Wed Soon

Kenya-based Burundian artiste Kidum, real name Nimbona Jean-Pierre, is set to tie the knot soon. The Mulika Mwizi hitmaker will wed early next year.

Word Is has learnt that the middle-aged lady is a well known student at a leading university in Nairobi. She is currently holidaying in Bujumbura, Burundi. Kidum divorced with his first wife, with whom they have two children, almost two years ago.

Word is has established that wedding plans are underway. However, Kidum was reluctant to talk about the good news. "Marriage is a personal thing and once I involve many people, it may not work out. However it's going to be one of the best marriages in East Africa and Africa as a whole," Kidum said.

Concerning his music, Kidum said he has many plans and he will be doing many collabos with top East African singers. He said he will reveal the details at a later date.
