Emirates has slashed its air ticket fares in its major destinations as competition from other eastern carriers intensify. The carrier will give special price offers for bookings between December 26 and January 10 for travels of up to June next year.
Passengers traveling from Kenya to Dubai and other Middle East destinations will be charges as little as USD571 inclusive of taxes and fuel surcharge.
This year has seen new carriers like Etihad and Korean air start flying these routes eating in to the Emirates market share. To India Emirates will charge from USD563 and to the Indian Subcontinent start at USD822.
Khalid Bel Jaflah, vice president for East Africa announced they had also cut prices to Europe to begin at USD 905, North America and Canada from USD1188.
