Kenya: Ngilu to Fight Musila in Contest for Kitui Senator

Water minister Charity Ngilu will contest for Kitui senator against Defense assistant minister David Musila. A close aide of the Narc leader, Mutitu MP Kiema Kilonzo told Musila who until the latest development was the sole contender to prepare for a fight

"I want to tell Musila to brace for battle royale. It is all out war. We will visit all the 40 ward in the county to campaign vigorously. Ngilu will be seeking support for Kitui senator while I will marshal backing for my bid for Kitui governor," he said.

"As Ngilu takes a shot at the position, she has an edge over Musila considering the Jubilee alliance has offered her the powerful position of the leader of the majority in senate," said Kiema in Kitui yesterday.
