Kenya: Othaya Police Arrest Seven Suspects in Swoop

POLICE in Othaya have arrested seven suspected robbers they say have been terrorising area residents. Police said the thugs have been involved in a series of house break-ins and burglaries in the area and some were arrested with electronic goods, including television sets and radios, in their homes.

Area police boss Adiel Nyange said some were arrested ferrying the goods at night. "We have also recovered their tools of trade," he said.

Meanwhile, police have arrested three conmen who had opened an animal feeds shop in Gachami area, where they were selling stolen feeds. They were arrested in Karatina area, more than 20 kilometres away, while escaping.
