Kenya: Wamalwa, Mudavadi Seek to Block Alliances From Western

UDF leader Musalia Mudavadi and his New Ford-Kenya counterpart Eugene Wamalwa are working on a plan to lock out the Jubilee and Cord alliances in Western.

Speaking during the Maragoli cultural festival in Mbale on Tuesday, the two vowed to work together to ensure a Luhya united vote in the March 4 elections. Wamalwa said he is ready to drop his bid for the sake of the Luhya community.

"Every time we try to join hands with our colleagues, they play dirty cards asking us what we have brought to the table. Some challenge us to go and unite our regions first," he said.
