The Mutito MP Kiema Kilonzo yesterday criticised the Head of the Civil service Francis Kimemia over the shortlisting of the chairperson and members of the Teachers Service Commission.

Kiema was particularly angered by the failure to nominated Kenya Institute of Education's Lydia Nzomo as the Chairperson of the commission.

"Let it be known that I will be the first to reject the list of the Teachers service Commission nominees once it is table in parliament. I will mobilise MPs to reject it," said the MP.

Kiema further urged the members of the Parliamentary select committee on education to also reject the names of the TSC nominees.
